Proof of code coverage is essential for safety certification in order to demonstrate the completeness of test cases and ensure that there is no unintended functionality. By combining Lauterbach's TRACE32® real-time trace with Vector's VectorCAST testing platform developers can meet the requirements of safety-critical standards such as ISO 26262 and DO‑178C faster and more efficiently: The combination of TRACE32® and VectorCAST enables resource-saving collection of code coverage data directly on the target system - without compromising real-time behavior or development effort.
